This symposium is designed to provide advanced hernia surgeons with cutting edge information specific to lap ventral hernia repair techniques, controversies, and improving optimal patient outcomes. Presentation and discussions will include scientific insights, procedural perspectives, case studies and considerations made when selecting a lap ventral hernia mesh. The symposium will close with a live walkthrough of a video demonstrating the placement of the Symbotex™ composite mesh, Covidien’s new and innovative solution to laparoscopic ventral hernia repair.
