Jeffrey Anderson, MD, MPH, MBA

Dr. Anderson is a pediatric cardiologist and Heart Institute Director. He performs noninvasive electrophysiology, which includes tests: electrocardiograms, treadmill exercises, and event monitors. He helped establish the Institute’s Syncope Clinic and helps develop the Safety, Quality, Value program, which plays a supporting role in furthering the Institute’s leadership in clinical outcomes, experience, and value for patients and families. His research interests are studying ways to increase high-value care for pediatric patients, quality improvement and population health.

Robert Frenck Jr., MD

Dr. Frenck jr’s research focuses on developing vaccines to prevent infections. He is the Director of the Gamble Center for Clinical Research, where they assess new vaccines and agents designed to prevent infections. Dr. Frenck is the principal investigator of the Vaccine Treatment and Evaluation Unit (VTEU), which is funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The VTEU at Cincinnati Children’s is one of nine selected sites to operate in the United States. His research has been published in various national journals: CID, OFID, Lancet Infectious Diseases, and the JCR.

Patricia Manning-Courtney, MD

As a developmental pediatrician Dr. Manning-Courtney specializes in diagnosing and treating children with ASD and other developmental disabilities. She is the founder of the Kelly O’Leary Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders (TKOC), a nationally recognized center of excellence for children with ASD. Dr. Manning-Courtney graduated first in medical school, class in 1991, and has been recognized by the Autism Society of Greater Cincinnati as Provider of the Decade. She was also awarded the Senior Resident Teaching Award from her fellow residents.

Jeff Simmons, MD, MSc

Dr. Simmons’s background is in NRSA research and clinical epidemiology. He works to blend health services and quality improvement methods to study inpatient care delivery and care transitions. Clinically, he works on the GIS as a pediatric hospitalist, and serves as the associate Dir., focusing on developing the group’s research program and fellowship program. His clinical interests: Quality improvement of care for underserved children with asthma; improving care delivery and medical ed. through family-centered care; resident and fellow ed. in pediatric hospital medicine.

Shelly Voet, MD

Dr. Voet is a graduate of Thomas More College and UK College of Medicine. She completed pediatric residency and served as chief residency at Cincinnati Children's. Shelly joined the PSC in 1999. Her community involvement includes Lector and Extraordinary Minister at St. Joseph Parish in Crescent Springs, Board Member of Northern Kentucky District Board of Health, Board Member of Kenton County Board of Health, Board Member of Ohio Valley Primary Care Associates, and served as Clinical Director of PSC and is the Lead Physician of PSC’s Patient Centered Medical Home Initiative.
