On behalf of the Cleveland Clinic Epilepsy Center, we are pleased to announce the Epilepsy Update & Review Course 2020 will take place in spite of the Coronavirus pandemic. This virtual event will be as lively as the in-person programs of previous years. We have again secured outstanding world-renowned speakers who will provide state-of-the-art, comprehensive review and updates of the evaluation of individuals with epilepsy and seizures across the age spectrum including diagnosis, optimal use of antiseizure drugs, psychiatric and other comorbidities, special considerations for women with epilepsy, medical intractability, contribution of imaging techniques, assessment for epilepsy surgery, neuromodulation and the management of patients with status epilepticus. There will be keynote presentations, live interaction through the audience response system and the ability to ask questions of the faculty. We will also have a virtual exhibit hall and poster presentations of research abstract submissions.
What’s even more exciting is the virtual platform allows more flexibility for attendance by meeting over four shorter evening sessions after work hours (EST) with the option to select 1, 2, 3 or all 4 sessions of your choice.
