In this video, the surgical treatment of umbilical hernia in a 4 year old girl is demonstrated. The focus of this video is to illustrate how to make the incision hidden in the umbilicus in order to give an invisible scar. The treatment of umbilical hernia in babies is mainly conservative, while in children over the age of two is via surgical anatomical repair. The operative steps and tissue planes are clearly demonstrated. The video shows the surgeon's point of view (POV).
