During this session, Dr. Bryan Goldstein discusses dynamic assessment of the Fontan circulation. Topics covered include review of basic physiology in biventricular circulation and changes during exercise, limitations of Fontan circuit (pulmonary vascular resistance, ventricular diastolic function, and ventricular systolic function), PHN FUEL trial, echocardiogram evaluation of diastolic dysfunction, and pacing for mechanical dyssynchrony.
